For each and every Vanarama North fixture at Bower Fold, we will be bringing you a motivational and inspirational poem by Season Ticket Holder, Stuart Vallantine.

Stuart gave a reading of his first Poem of the season, 'Arrival' at the Meet the Players event last week, receiving a fantastic round of applause from the audience. His second Poem, 'Late Night Live' was for the victory over AFC Fylde last Tuesday evening.

Star Turn is his third and is for the visit of Solihull Moors tomorrow.....

STAR TURN
Aglow from Tuesday' s win, a six minute salvo,
A much appreciated clean sheet too,
In the rain, 410 wet through.
Players and fans, most impressive night. Long due,
After last season's lean spell and rancour.
Tuesday was Celtic at its best, spirit, valour.
For the first Saturday home, more joy, wonder,
Goals and drama, though tricky opponents
Often solid away. Park the bus? C'est vraiment.
Good team spirit like us but pitch' s gradient,
Downhill, second half' s our advantage.
Run them on the deck, Town End, attack centre stage.
Roll on Saturday, win them all' s our adage.
Another chance to thrill, show our skill,
Outwit, outpsyche, outrun, demonstrate our will.
Hope a few more could take the short walk up hill
Or the bus - don' t know what they' re missing,
When the football' s flowing, equally pulsating.
Stuart Vallantine, 15 August 2014

Each of Stuart's Poems are put up on the Dressing Room Notice Board (Sorry Keith, for posting it across the Tactic's Board!) prior to that particular match, for the Players to read.

Look out for them throughout the season...........
