We were delighted to welcome Lord Faulkner of Worcester, a Trustee of the Football Conference Trust, and Lord Tom Pendry of Stalybridge, along to Bower Fold last Saturday for our Vanarama North fixture versus Worcester City FC, to present the club with a cheque for £15,000



We have received this funding from the Football Confernce Trust, who offer funding grants to Vanarama Premier, North & South clubs, to enable each club to carry our Community Development activities in their local communities, Stalybridge Celtic FC have received this funding to support our Community programme for the last year, which amongst others includes our 'Active Goals' schools project, 'She Scores' Girls U11's Cup, £5 Fresh Air Football Ticket Initaitive, Walking Football, of which some of the participants from these activities were in attendance at the match.


The Football Conference Trust is a charity that offers Grant Aid to Conference clubs to support and develop their community projects. Funding is made possible by the generous support of the Premier League and Professional Footballer's Association (PFA). Each has contributed to a fund of £5.2m. Over 57 Conference Clubs are currently running projects after receiving funds from the Trust.



We would like to thank Lord Faulkner and the Football Conference Trust, The Premier League and The PFA for their continued support.
