During the course of the Vanarama North 2014/15 season, we have been provided with some fantastic pieces of poetry, by our very own Season Ticket Holder, Stuart Vallantine.

The poems are produced for each and every first team match here at Bower Fold, with each poem being printed out and placed on the Notice Board in the Home Dressing room prior to kick-off, for our players to read and take motivation and inspiration from them.

Stuart has even been known to read them out personally at Corporate Hospitality and in the Boardroom on a few occasions.

The poems have been so popular amongst those who have read them, that a selection of some of them have been chosen for display at the National Football Museum in Manchester as part of their 'Learning & Communities' section of the museum, meaning lots of visitors, will get to read and enjoy them when visiting the Urbis site.

So far this season, we have been treated to -
v AFC Fylde – ‘Late Night Live'
v Solihull Moors FC – ‘Star Turn'
v Stockport County FC – ‘August Derby'
v Leamington FC – ‘A Chance to Shine'
v Tamworth FC – ‘Two Teams, Two Tames'
v Guiseley FC – ‘A New Leaf'
v Colwyn Bay – ‘Wouldn't Three be Lovely'
v Hednesford FC – ‘Nightmare Scenario'
v Lowestoft FC – ‘A Point to Prove'
v Oxford City FC – ‘Getting There'

v Hyde FC – ‘Derby Delight'
v North Ferriby United – ‘Gimmie Five'
