Our last fixture at Bower Fold, v Barrow FC, saw The Prince's Trust Hyde TEAM 10, attend on the day to carry out a 'Bucket Collection' to enable the team of young people on the 12 week programme, to raise some valuable funds to help towards their Community project.
A total of £78.18 was collected and Team Leader, Emma Seercombe, of The Prince's Trust, run in partnership with the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, has asked us to pass on their thanks to all the supporters of Stalybridge Celtic for their kind donations.
The TEAM programme is aimed at unemployed young people aged between 16 and 25, and comprises of 12 weeks being part of the team, undertaking a week long residential training course, work placement opportunities, Food Hygiene & First Aid courses, community work, help with CV's and much much more.
The next TEAM, 11, starts on Tuesday 26th May 2015 and is based at Hyde Fire Station.
