Our popular Match Day Poetry is back tonight for the visit of Bradford Park Avenue, courtesy of Season Ticket Holder, Stuart Vallantine, and will be a feature prior to every National League North fixture at Bower Fold for the 2015/16 season.

We start off with reflections on last season, with 'No Close Shaves', enjoy....

NO CLOSE SHAVES

Final day of the last season,

That was a real heart stopper.

What a strange finale, beyond reason.

By a whisker, in the Vanarama.

A new look Celtic awaits us,

Security the mission.

Continuity, consistency, no fuss.

Fearlessness, three cups of ambition.

Play for the long haul, passing or long ball.

42 games and cups; we mustn't stall.

Keep our heads, start afresh, show some pride.

Sit down or stand, for one glorious ride.

No close shaves'll do (like last time).

Great to see, it made good copy.

Only this time we shouldn't cut it fine.

Each fixture, onwards to victory.

This time it is all for real,

Time to show some grit and steel.

The journey begun, off Cannock Chase way.

Welcome home 'Bridge, time for a great display.
