Stalybridge Celtic Community Development were represented in the 'Match Made in Tameside' event held in Dukinfield today, organised by Community Voluntary Action Tameside (CVAT). The aim of the annual event is to bring charitable/community organisations together with local companies, with the view to building lasting relationships between the two.

Each organisation had five minutes to 'pitch' their work to twelve local businesses in a speed dating style, with company representatives deciding if their company can help in any way going forward.

Amongst those present were national companies like IKEA, Yorkshire Building Society and Carillion, along with other local smaller businesses. The morning was a great opportunity to network and to spread the word about our Community Development work.

Hopefully, some will come forward with offers to help the club move forward and play a part in creating a charitable arm of Stalybridge Celtic FC, to enable us to be more active throughout the community.
