Our PAN Disability Team had a disappointing trip to the Cheshire FA HQ in Northwich on Saturday, to participate in the Cheshire Ability Counts Cup. The cup is a one-off 7-a-side competition for Teams that play in the Monthly Ability Counts League, staged in the East and West of the county.
After a positive journey down the M60 & M56, the team were in good spirits prior to starting, but that soon disappeared once the games started, the results were as follows -
L 1-0 v Crewe FC
W 1-0 v Buxton Sportability
L 4-0 v Live! Allstars
Those set of results left us finishing third in the group and facing a semi-final against Live! Allstars, which we lost 3-0, so a bad day at the office, with four own goals not helping matters.
So back to the drawing board on Tuesday evening at Ashton 6th Form College for our weekly training, I think some work on defending as a team is required.
Our next League fixtures take place on Tuesday 26th April 2016, 6pm at Aquinas College in Stockport, all welcome to cheer us on #upthebridge
