We are pleased to announce the great news that our Community Development work here at Bower Fold has been awarded charitable status. The charity, will operate under its new name 'Stalybridge Celtic Foundation', registration number 1173057.

The Foundation will be headed up by four appointed Trustees -

Gerald Crossley
Paul Battye
Jane Nelson
Brian Coll

The aims and objectives of the Foundation are -

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES BY WORKING WITH CLUBS, SCHOOLS AND ORGANISATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.#

The Foundation have recently been awarded a two year funding grant from The National League Trust, up to February 2019, to continue with the initiatives/projects currently being delivered.

We are always looking for volunteers to get involved out in the community, be it getting involved in the practical delivery or simply discussing ideas for new projects/activities, all help, support, knowledge and guidance is welcome.

We will be officially launching the Foundation in due course along with our website www.stalybridgecelticfoundation.uk which is 'live' and nearing completion.
