US-based engineering firm renews its front of shirt sponsorship deal with Stalybridge Celtic FC

We are delighted to announce that New Boston, Michigan-based engineering consulting specialist, Fidelis has extended its partnership with Stalybridge Celtic as the club’s front of shirt sponsor for a further season.

Fidelis was co-founded by Rob Hurlston and Bill Webster in 2020 and has quickly established itself as a leader in its highly specialised field of engineering consultancy. Using the most up-to-date computer-aided engineering tools available, the experienced Fidelis team provides world-class, fully integrated, simulation-based engineering solutions across a wide range of industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, energy, medical and industrial equipment.

Rob Hurlston, co-founder and CEO of Fidelis, said: “Fidelis is honoured to continue as the club's front of shirt sponsor for the coming 24/25 season! Bill and I have very much enjoyed following the club from afar and are very excited to see the progress made during this past season. It looks like there’s much more to come in the very near future as well.

It was a pleasure to be present at a couple of games and we plan on making it to some next season too! Hopefully to witness promotion to the NPL Premier, which is the least this club deserves.”

Rob grew up close to the club’s stadium and attended Stalyhill Junior School and West Hill School before going on to gain his masters and doctorate degrees in engineering at the University of Manchester. He added: “As a Stalybridge kid, I couldn't be more proud to have our company on the front of the Celtic shirt, and we're excited for the coming season!”

As part of the extended partnership, Fidelis will enjoy front of first team shirt sponsorship rights for the new home and away playing kits due to be unveiled in early June, as well as on all replica shirts too.

Stalybridge Celtic’s Commercial Director, Steve Dewsnip, said: “We are very grateful to Rob, Bill and their team at Fidelis for their continuing support. Their enthusiasm for what we are developing here at Bower Fold is fantastic and we are honoured to have them on our team.”

Last week the club released its new commercial brochure setting out many different ways in which businesses can engage and partner with Celtic and Steve added: “This is an exciting time for sponsors and commercial partners to be getting involved with Celtic as we continue to drive forward, both on and off the pitch. If, like Fidelis, you would also like to become part of our story, please contact me on commercial@stalycelticfc.co.uk.”
