On Tuesday, Celtic travel up the M6 to Workington for the Conference North clash with the Cumbrian outfit. Workington are currently eleventh in the table with thirty-one points, just two places and five points behind Celtic having played one game more. There is no coach to this match, but there will be a live match centre.

Steve Burr - Press Release

Stalybridge Celtic has today announced the departure of Steve Burr after 2 1/2 years as Manager. Despite being under contract until May 2011, Burr was approached by Kidderminster Harriers some weeks ago and, following considerable protracted debate, an agreement has now been reached for him to join Kidderminster.

Celebrate Valentine's Day At Stalybridge Celtic

Stalybridge Celtic will be hosting a Valentine's Day evening (Saturday 13th of February) in the Sponsor's Lounge at Bower Fold. Tameside's very own table magician, Scott 'Magic' Burns will be visiting the tables with his selection of close up magic, and for one night only, James Franklyn (More Info) will be performing his excellently reviewed Soul and Swing show.

For those with an historic bent, there is a new web site project that has been created by Roger Hopkin, author of two football non-league history books. Non-League Matters currently holds the tables of all the northern leagues and conference going back to 1882. The site is still in its infancy, and is one to bookmark if you need information on historical tables.
