Would you like to be part of the team off the pitch?

Do you have a passion for Football?

Would you like to be involved in delivering Community based projects and initiatives throughout Tameside, using Football as the tool to engage with people of all ages?

Are you enthusiastic, reliable, organised, full of energy?

If the answer is yes, we'd like to hear from you and get you on board in order to expand our Community Development work here at Stalybridge Celtic FC.

Currently, we are funded by The Football Conference Trust, the charitable arm of The National League, of which all clubs in the Premier, North & South, can access funding for Community projects, and are now looking ahead to when the current funding award finishes and what additional funding we can bring in to sustain the work we have done over the past 18 months.

We are looking to create a charitable organisation for our Community Development work, which will enable us to access pots of funding outside of the ‘Football Family', which is only available to charities and the like, in order for us to deliver much more varied projects and engage with more groups and organisations across the borough, raising the profile of Stalybridge Celtic FC even further.

To do this we are looking to recruit Trustees to join us on the journey and help take the Community work to the next level.

Ideally, we would like to have Trustees with any of the following skills – Social Media, Fund Raising, Sponsorship, Governance, Accountancy, HR, Networking, Funding, Compliance, so that we can operate at a professional level in all areas.

Unfortunately, this is a voluntary post and no salary will be paid, just the knowledge that you are part of the club and making a difference to people's lives in and around the town and surrounding areas.

If you would like more information, we will be holding a Presentation (Attendance is by invite only) on the background to our Community Development work and plans for the future, on Tuesday 1st December 2015, 6.30pm, prior to our National League North fixture v Harrogate Town FC.

To be part of what could be a very exciting time for the club, please send a copy of your current CV along with a covering letter detailing what you can bring to Community Development and how you would see your role with us.

FAO Mike Smith, Community Development Officer, Stalybridge Celtic FC, Bower Fold, Mottram Road, Stalybridge, Cheshire, SK15 2RT or via email community@stalybridgeceltic.co.uk

Closing date for applications is Monday 30th November 2015 at 5.00pm.
