Celtic are delighted to announce the sale of striker Darius Osei to League One neighbours Oldham Athletic.

The deal for Darius is made up of an undisclosed fee with further add-ons linked to appearances and also includes a sell-on clause. Latics will also send their First Team to Bower Fold for a pre-season game next July.

Chairman Rob Gorski said "I'm absolutely delighted for Darius. He has been a joy to work with and he's a great advert for our Academy system. We think that Oldham will be a great fit for him as he develops the potential that he undoubtedly has and I'm sure that he will prove to be a great asset to them> I wish him all the luck in the world as he pursues his dreams"

Manager Liam Watson stated "Darius is a credit to himself and a great advert for what we're trying to achieve here. I think he has huge potential to carve a great career in the professional game. We will miss him but we can't stand in his way"
