Stalybridge Celtic is pleased to announce the loan signing of forward Jordan Chapell until the New Year.

The former Sheffield United and Torquay United player will now provide further competition for places in the Celtic starting line-up.

Subject to FA approval, the 26-year-old will potentially be up for selection ahead of tomorrow's game against Rushall Olympic in the FA Trophy (3pm).

Celtic manager, Steve Burr, said: "I am delighted to have acquired Jordan's services on a short term basis. He is a player who I have worked with before and having played over 50 games for parent club Chester, he will add a wealth of experience to the current group."

In other squad related news, Sebastien Julien has been released from the club. Everyone would like to thank Seb for his time with us and wish him all the best going forward.
