Player Profile - Adam Carden (25th Mar 2015 - 31st May 2015)
Adam joins Celtic from Skelmersdale United. His winning career started early, winnign various Liverpool cups at school, and representing Sefton. On leaving school, he joined Chester on a YTS scheme in 2001, but when that didn't work out, he joined Southport, where he finished his youth training, with a trial at Manchester City thrown into the mix as he progressed up the ranks at the Sandgrounders. When Southport were relgated in 2002, Adam joined Wigan briefly, before seeing out the season at Runcorn. When Liam Watson left Runcorn, Adam also departed, joining Accrington Stanley. A serious cartilage injury sidelined Adam for eight months, and after his recovery was released by Stanley, and Adam joined Burscough, linking back up with Liam Watson. Adam was tempted away from the Linnets in 2009 and joined FC United under former Celtic player, Karl Marginson. He was only with FC United for four months before he was moving back up the pyramid again to join Altrincham. Adam saw out the 09/10 season with Alty, making fifteen appearances, before returning to Southport again for the 2011/12 season. After twenty-one appearances for Southport, mainly as an impact substitute, Adam joined AFC Fylde, and was a big part in their promotion push. He joined Skelmersdale, and despite helping Skelmersdale to one of their best seasons, the lure of former gaffer, Liam Watson, has been enough to tempt back into the Conference with Celtic.
