Dave married Hollyoaks actor in 2003, whilst playing for Altrincham. He started his career at Manchester United and then City, but was released in 1995, and played for the reserves at a Blackpool, Birmingham City, Bury and Barnsley, and joined Wrexham in 97, briefly, and then Morecambe for two seasons.
