Brian made two appearances. Prior to Celtic, Brian had league experience at Derby County, Barnsley, Mansfield Town and Stockport County. He retired from professional football in 97 after his leg was shattered in a match at Stockport County, and he became the first player to successfully sue for a dangerous tackle, earning quarter of a million pounds.
