
Belfast born Mark started out with Manchester United in 1986, but couldn't make into the first team, so joined Sheffield United in 1987. He made 70 appearances, and had a spell on loan at Wolves in 1991. Whilst at Sheffield, he earned a cap for the Northern Ireland U23 cap. After Sheffield, Mark joined Rotherham United in 91, and over four seasons made 64 appearances. In 1995, he joined Scarborough for 23 appearances and a season. 1996 saw a series of clubs, Mansfield Town, Telford United and then Celtic. After Celtic, he joined Blyth Spartans. He is now back at Sheffield United as a Community Development officer.
