Match Preview :- Corby Town - Tuesday November 17th, 2015 (19:45:00)

On Tuesday night, Celtic face Corby Town in the rearranged fixture (kick off 7:45pm). Corby are currently in the bottom three, in twentieth with fourteen points, nine places and seven points behind Celtic. There will be a match centre for this game.

Corby were promoted this season, but have struggled to compete, with three wins and five draws so far this season. After a six game unbeaten run in which they picked up two wins and four draws they then went on a ten game winless streak, a current league record, ended by a 3-2 win over Telford. They also hold the current league record for the most consecutive losses at seven games. This means that they have won just once since August, and have never won away from home this season at all, with four losses and four draws in their eight away games.

Their top scorer this season is Ashley Sammons who has six goals, with Kabongo Tshimanga right behind him on five. They might score an average of a goal per game away from home (1.3 goals per game overall), but they concede an average of 2.1 goal per away game (2.2 overall). They have failed to score in four away games (six overall) and never kept a clean sheet on the road, and only kept one at home. They have conceded seventeen goals in total away from home this season, and scored eight, with a run of twelve consecutive games conceding since their only clean sheet back in August.

However, in their favour, they have never lost at Bower Fold, with their last visit here a 2-1 win in January 2013. Celtic's last points against them here was the season before in March 2012 when we drew 2-2. We have beaten Corby, earlier in the 11/12 season when we won 2-1 at their place. In the nine matches between the two sides (including a Trophy match back in 2010), Corby have won five, lost one and drawn three. They have visited five times, and won three, and drawn two.

Corby's last match was a 2-0 away defeat at Boston United. They have recently signed Harry Burgoyne on a youth loan from Wolves as their first choice keeper in an effort to stop the leaking of goals. In that defeat at Boston, Corby lined up as:
1. Harry Burgoyne
2. Kalern Thomas
3. Duane Courtney
4. Clayton McDonald
5. Ben O'Hanlon
6. Cleveland Taylor
7. Danny Draper
8. Kurtis Revan
9. Ben Milnes
10. Greg Mills
11. Callum Ball

Celtic will be checking on the fitness of Danny Wisdom (ankle) and John Shaw (knee) ahead of the match, but are suspension free, with Alex Mudimu's suspension not kicking in until we face Harrogate next month. In our last match, the 3-1 home win over Worcester City, Celtic lined up as:
1. Tony McMillan
2. Oliver Crowley
3. Aidan Chippendale
4. Matty Hughes
5. Jack Higgins
6. Aaron Chalmers
7. Bohan Dixon
8. Adam Farrell
9. Chris Simm
10. Alex Johnson
11. Alex Mudimu

This game is our game in hand on the two teams above us, Curzon and Chorley. A win or draw would put us above Curzon, but Chorley are four points clear currently. There are two other games being played on Tuesday night:
Solihull Moors (33pts 3rd) v Brackley Town (14pts 18th)
Worcester City (12pts 22nd) v Boston United (30pts 6th)
