The 2011/12 Fixtures for the Blue Square Bet North were released, and see Celtic travel to Nuneaton Town on the opening day, followed by trips to Bower Fold from Harrogate and Gainsborough.
Nuneaton finished sixth last season, and will provide a stern test having beaten Jim Harvey's boys home and away last season, whilst August is a busy start to the campaign, with evisits to new boys Halifax Town and the Bank Holiday trip from Vauxhall rounding it off.
Our Christmas Derby with Hyde has been preserved, with Droylsden getting Altrincham, although the dates may be switched so that Hyde are at home on Boxing Day and Celtic at home on New Years Day.
Our longest trip, the visit to Bishop Stortford, is on a Saturday in September, although there are long midweek trips to Workington as our second away game, and to Blyth in February. Our trip to the seaside of Colwyn Bay is at the end of October, so probably only the hardy will be sunbathing on the beach.
Celtic round the season off on Saturday 28th April with a visit to Bower Fold from Hinckley United, after which will be the play off dates, which hopefully we will be involved in, unless we win it outright!
