Author: Admin - Mon 26 Mar 12Yesterday, Sunday 25th March, we heard the sad news that John Dillon at the age of 92 had passed away, John served Celtic for over 40 years as Secretary, Director and for many years turnstile operator, he was a true Celtic man who wil be sadly missed by all.
John also served Cheshire FA and was a former Vice President of Cheshire FA. He was also a qualified referee and a Football League linesman. John played football also at non league level, with Hyde Utd amongst the clubs he served.
He will be missed by all at Celtic, and our condolences go to his son John and four daughters, all of whom he ingrained in the Celtic way of life, especially Susan who attends the majority of home games at this moment in time.
