Celtic have today announced the signing of striker Liam Dickinson.

Dickinson (28) was released by Skrill North rivals Stockport County in mid-February and joins the Celts on non-contract terms.

Dickinson numbers Brighton & Hove, Plymouth, Derby, Leeds, Barnsley and Rochdale among his former clubs.

He will not be eligible for the Cheshire Senior Cup Quarter Final tie at Altrincham but goes straight into the squad for Saturday's home league game against Skrill North leaders AFC Telford United.
