Stalybridge Celtic Football Club is based in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester. The club participates in the Conference North, the sixth tier of English football.

We are looking for any promising footballers who are leaving school to join our Academy for the 2015/16 academic year. With the exciting developments at our Academy we believe that we can offer you the best route into football whether it's playing/coaching or a career in sports education.

We are looking to recruit school leavers or any players released by football clubs 16-18 year olds for the next generation of football talent to add to the current crop of young players at our Academy.

Stalybridge Celtic Academy run their BTEC Sports Level 2 or 3 courses scheme in partnership with Hopwood Hall College, an experience and well established college. All football coaches are CRB and Registered FA licensed coaches. Both Courses will be delivered at Stockport Sports Village, Woodley, Stockport.

The players/students will enrol on the BTEC Sports Level 2 or 3 courses depending on GCSE results. Entry requirements are:

* Level 2. 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above including English and Maths.
* Level 3. 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths.

Applicants must have a keen interest in football training and coaching.

Stalybridge Celtic Academy has a reserve team which play in the Galaxy Lancashire league and 2 teams in the BCS ECFA.

With our proven track record for excellence and development of players you need to make sure you do not miss this year's intake and the opportunity we offer.
