I am delighted to announce that Peter Wylie, Michael Powell and Chris Simm have all agreed terms for next season. All three made an impact upon Liam's appointment and he is really pleased to have them all sign on for the forthcoming season.

Peter, an ex Blackburn Rovers U21 regular, came in and immediately started competing with Oliver for the right back place. Both have great speed and ability going forward as well as great defensive qualities and Liam is happy both have signed.

Michael, 29, has masses of experience and was vice-captain when Southport won the league and has plenty of Conference Premier games to his name. His maturity and ability will be vital next season.

"Simmo" came in and very quickly became a crowd favourite. He only played 6 games, but the 4 goals that he scored were a major part of our "Great Escape". We are all thrilled to have him back and we hope that he continues his ratio of 2 goals every 3 games!!!!

Liam has already agreed terms with 5 other players too, but they will be announced by the end of the week
