In what was an emotional night, Tony McMillan was the big winner at the annual end of season awards, whilst tribute was paid to sadly missed Mark Storah.

Tony scooped the four major playing awards picking up the Player Of The Season, Players Player Of The Year, Managers Player Of The Year and SCSA Player Of The Year.

Peter Wylie was awarded Young Player Of The Year, whilst Jack Higgins, narrowly missing out in a number of votes, capped a fine season by picking up the Golden Boot as leading scorer.

Tributes were paid to Mark Storah, dedicated servant to the Club and friend to all.  It is only right and fitting that the Clubman Of The Year award is now named in his honour.  He was posthumously awarded the Directors Shield, received by his partner Anthea.

The first Clubman Of The Year was named as Nigel Shaw.

It is the countless hours of service and dedication put in by the likes of Mark and Nigel that are the lifeblood of this Club. Without them and many more besides then we would be all the poorer for it.  Long may that continue.

Together, we are Stalybridge Celtic FC.
