Celtic have today announced the arrival of striker Matty Gillam.

Matty (18) joins us on a Work Experience Loan from Rochdale, where he is highly rated. He has scored six goals in five appearances for the Rochdale youth team and Manager Keith Hill has high hopes for him.

Speaking in an interview last week, Hill said For me, Gilly has got to go out and play real mens football now.

He's not going to be involved with us this side of Christmas, although he will train with us. I think the youth team is too easy for him, so I need to get him parked in real mens football. Itll give him his man stripes, if you like.
