Firstly, I am delighted to announce that Josh Hine is joining us, on loan, for initially a month. Josh joins us from Salford City and for anyone who knows their football, will need no introduction. Josh is a phenomenal player who can play as either winger or central striker and not only has pace, but is a fabulous finisher too. We are tremendously fortunate to have his services and we all hope that he can help us get out of our current predicament.

Welcome to the Fold Josh and we certainly hope that you have a really successful stay with us.

I'm sorry to report that "Macca" has decided to join Warrington Town F.C. Tony never wanted to sign a contract and was free to leave. Everyone, not least Paul and Steve, wanted to see him stay and we were all shocked to hear that he wanted to sign for Warrington. At 34, he naturally wanted to be playing every week and after recent events, he felt that such a scenario was not guaranteed here at Celtic.

Tony has been a gentleman throughout his time at the club and his performances ensured that he scooped all the major awards last season. His saves certainly kept us in this league and he also enabled us to reach the 1st round "proper" in the F.A. Cup for the first time in over a decade.

We are sorry to see Tony leave, but he goes with our very best wishes and a massive thanks for everything that he has done for the club since his arrival. Top man Macca.

But, without sounding heartless, "The King is dead" etc. and I'd like to welcome Grant who, I must say, did everything asked of him on Saturday. Ok, there was literally only one shot of note (which he dealt with admirably), but he came for crosses, commanded his area and was vocal.

Grant has big shoes to fill, but Paul and Steve are in doubt that he has than enough ability to do so. He may only be 24, but he's already notched up over 200 league games, captained his club and been voted player of the Evo Stik league. He declined other offers in our league to join us and we wish him a long and successful career at Bower Fold.
