He said: "I was disappointed we didn't get a result on Saturday but it was a difficult match considering after 45 minutes we were missing two centre-backs due to injury.
"Despite it not being the end to the season we wanted it to be after some good victories against some big clubs in March, we still have a chance at silverware.
"After it was confirmed we were relegated I said to the players it's about individual performances now, which can help benefit themselves as well as the team.
"It's important now we put on a show for the supporters on Thursday night who have been fantastic since I came back. We want to win and end the season on a high note."
