of Bernard Morrell, 69, who has passed away following a recent
illness.
Bernard, was known to all on the terraces and was a much-loved
character. He served the club for decades and held many roles. He is perhaps
best known for preparing post-match food for the players and staff of both
sides, a role which he held for over 10 years.
The club sends its deepest sympathy to Jeanette and all of
Bernard's family at this difficult time.
The funeral for the late Bernard Morrell will be held at Dukinfield Crematorium on Tuesday 19th September at 14:00.
