Matty returns to the club having made 42 appearances and scored 13 goals last season. He impressed with his work rate and commitment and becomes Haworth's second summer signing.
Matty is happy to come back to Bower Fold, saying "I enjoyed last season even though it was difficult. I think the club deserves better and I hope we can do well."
Manager Simon Haworth said "Matty was a priority and I'm thrilled he's put pen to paper. He gives me options and I'm happy to bring him back."
