Author: Admin - Thu 20 Sep 18Shrewsbury Town under-18s captain, George Hughes, has linked back up with manager Simon Haworth, joining Celtic on loan until January.
George has previously been on loan with Colwyn Bay and Clitheroe where he has already linked up with Haworth. The Celtic gaffer has described George as "full of energy and a great character", whilst Shrewsbury Town has described him as "having a good eye for a pass" and "not afraid to get stuck in if needed".
George has played first team football with Shrewsbury, coming on as a second half substitture against West Bromich Albion in the Checkatrade League Cup.
He joins in time to make the squad for Saturday's re-arranged fixture against Matlock Town.
