Celtic are deeply saddened to announce that club legend Roy Barker passed away on Sunday.

Roy dedicated so many years to Celtic and was the clubs Kit Manager during the mid 2000's.

He continued to volunteer at the club, maintaining the ground and fixing everything that broke.

The funeral arrangements for Roy Barker, who recently passed away in Willow Wood Hospice have been confirmed.

There will be a service at Dukinfield Crematorium on Friday 25th October at 2.30pm, before moving onto Bower Fold.

Margaret and family have said that they wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who have made clear their condolences with tributes to Roy on social media and on the club's website.

The family would like any donations to be made to Willow Wood, who looked after Roy so well until the end.

The club sends its condolences to Roy's family and friends.

Roy will be sadly missed by everyone associated with Celtic.
