Celtic are pleased to announce that Kallum Mantack has re-signed with the club for another season.

Kallum initially joined Celtic in August 2019 and went on to make 37 appearances in his debut season at the club.

The 22-year-old showed his versatility last season, playing in numerous positions on both sides of the pitch and not necessarily in his most comfortable position.

Kallum lists Oldham Athletic, Alfreton Town, Altrincham, Ashton United and Curzon Ashton as previous clubs but will be back at Celtic for the 2020/21 season.

After signing up for another season, Kallum said: "I'm really excited to be here for another year. There's a few new faces that have arrived so I'm looking forward to getting the season started.

"I feel as a player no matter what age you are, you have to go where you feel most confident and the gaffer has played a big part in that."

Manager Simon Haworth was pleased to have one of last season's ever present players back for another season, he said: "Kallum did really well out of position for us last season at left-back.

"He's got pace, he is strong and he's got real quality. I think there's a lot more to come from him and we want to try and get that out of him.

"We're going to give him a fair opportunity at right-back to do that, he's the right age and has the right physical body.

"We want to work on his football and try and get him further forward up the pitch. We feel at right-back, with this group of players he will really thrive so we are really pleased to have him back with us."

Welcome back, Kallum!
