Celtic are pleased to announce that Callum Harris has returned for the 21/22 season.

The 25-year-old midfielder first joined Celtic in September 2020, making seven appearances where he created two goals before the season was curtailed.

Callum came through the youth ranks at Manchester City before joining Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Upon leaving the academy system in 2016, Callum had a spell in Belgium for Patro Eisden and also in Spain for Burgos FC. Callum returned to the UK last year and now embarks on his second season with Celtic.

Simon Haworth was extremely pleased to secure Callum’s signature for the upcoming season, he said: “Callum Harris is a quality player.

“If we can get the best Callum Harris and get the best out of him, we have a real good player.

“We’re looking to get him to have less touches and to affect the game at the right end of the pitch.

“He’s a very good player, we’ll work away but we’re pleased to have another quality player on board.”

Welcome back, Callum!
