Celtic Ladies lost 7-3 away to Altrincham Hale, despite this they were not disheartened focusing on their progress made since previous matches.

Shortly into the match during a tackle with Celtic’s Annabel Bailey, Natalie Davies managed to shoot diagonally while falling to the ground scoring the first goal for Altrincham Hale in the 15th minute.

Roxy Parry-Briggs raced towards the ball before the keeper could get to it, after a failed attempted to shoot from Fern Wareham, she took a risk and scored from a difficult corner in the 22nd minute.

Celtic’s Katie Jones obtained the ball from the opposing teams Olivia Hockin’s corner kick and inadvertently scores an own goal in the 36th minute.

Celtic’s trialist scores the first goal of the pre-season just 12 seconds into the second half with a simple tap in.

Laura Renshaw gets pressed down the pitch before kicking the ball forcefully to the back of the net bringing Altrincham’s score up to 4-1 only a couple minutes after.

Celtic’s trialist scored again for the 2nd time in the 74th minute after a few tackles and being followed closely behind.

Renshaw snuck past Celtic’s defence and scored her second goal in the 77th minute.

Helen Smith receives the ball across the pitch and heads it in scoring the 3rd goal for Celtic in the 80th minute.

Renshaw scores another 2 goals completing the scoring for Altrincham.

Celtic Ladies are next playing on Sunday 29th August away at SK Vipers (13:30).
