Stalybridge Celtic can confirm that following an investigation over the last 24 hours, that no racist behaviour took place during our Pitching In Northern Premier League fixture with Grantham Town.

The club would like to thank the match referee, his assistants and the individual involved for their cooperation and assistance with our investigation. We can confirm that the individual did not use any form of racist language and our investigation has concluded.

We are a club full of diversity and remain committed in our approach that racism is not accepted at Bower Fold.
