Stalybridge Celtic is pleased to confirm the signing of defender Louis Danquah.

The 24-year-old becomes Chris Willcock’s latest signing.

Louis began his career in the academy at Nottingham Forest before joining Mansfield Town in 2014 where he progressed through their youth ranks.

He signed a two year professional contract with Mansfield in 2016 aged 18.

Since leaving Mansfield in 2018, he has played for Carlton Town, Kidderminster, Belper Town, and Macclesfield FC.

Known as an athletic player who is comfortable on the ball, the left-sided defender boosts Chris Willcock defensive options ahead of the new season.

After making his move to Celtic official, Louis said: “After meeting the clubs staff and players, I feel like this is a club that can move forward this season and i'm aiming to bring success back to club.”

Welcome to Celtic, Louis!
