We’re pleased to confirm Courtney Meppen-Walters loan has been extended until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old defender who initially joined on a 28 day loan from Bury, will now remain with Celtic until the end of the season.

Celtic Manager Jon Macken commented: “We’re very happy to have secured Courtney until the end of the season. He will continue to be a key part of our push for the final nine games and we’re over the moon that he’s staying with us.”

Courtney has made three appearances so far and most recently featured in our 2-1 win over Newcastle Town.
