Andy joined Celtic on loan from Rotherham for a month, and after a spell at Yeovil, returned to Celtic this time permanently. He started at Hereford United in 1994, making 8 appearances, before joining Norwich in 1995 (he was an unused sub for a Premiership game). He was sent on loan to Kettering, making 14 appearances, before joining Rotherham. After Celtic, Andy joined Stocksbridge Park Steels, making 29 goals and scoring four times. In 1999, Andy moved to Kidderminster Harriers for a season, making 20 appearances. In 2000 he moved to Scotland to join Greenock Morton for just two games before returning to England with Hartlepool. In 2001 he joined Northwich Victoria, where he made 7 appearances before finishing the season at Hednesford town (23 appearances), the 01/02 season saw him at Gainsborough, with ten appearances, and he followed this up with stints at Wakefield Emley, Maltby Main (twice), Scarborough, Hallam, Buxton, Sheffield, Stavely Miners, Ossett Albion, Worksop Town and AFC Emley over a seven year period.
