Dublin born Len joined Celtic from Sheffield, but only played a handful of games before joining Gainsborough Trinity, and then Boston United between 1997 and 2001. After Boston, he had a succession of clubs including Kettering and Harrogate. He started at Leeds United, and spent time back in Ireland with Shamrock Rovers, before returning to play in England with Sheffield.
