Celtic edged the first half, capping it off with a goal when Nick Ryan flicked a Danny Burns corner over the keeper, after both sides had gone close. Radcliffe's best chance from Jack Hindle was a decent stop by Zak Hibbert in the Celtic nets.

The second half saw Celtic be the more dominant, despite a lack of chances for both sides. With ten minutes left, Andy Owens with a great strike from the edge of the box to double the lead for Celtic. A foul on Henoc Mukendi in th ebox could have added a penalty spot third, but it was a friendly, and the appeal was waved away.
