From the M62 Junction 20 (A627(M)).
Head towards Leeds.
Stay on the M62 until Junction 33 - A1 (about 40 miles).
Stay on the A1 (parts of it are motorway) for about 60 miles to Junction 57, A66(M) (Towards Darlington).
At the roundabout at the end of the A66(M) go straight across (exit 1 of 3) onto the A66.
Stay on the A66 around Darlington.
You will go across 3 roundabouts (First: exit 3 of 6; second: exit 2 of 4; third: exit 2 of 4) and turn right at a fourth (exit 2 of 3) to stay on the A66.
After about 9 miles, you will reach a junction with the A19.
Join the A19 heading North.
There is a slip road for this purpose.
3 miles down the A19, you will reach a junction for the A1027 )signposted for Billingham).
Leave at this junction.
At the roundabout at the bottom of the slip-road, turn right (exit 3 of 4).
Almost immediately you will come to another roundabout.
Go straight across (exit 2 of 4) onto Central Avenue.
Again, immediately there is a roundabout.
Again go straight across (exit 2 of 4) to stay on Central Avenue.
After half a mile, there is a further roundabout.
Turn left here (exit 1 of 4) onto Cowpen Lane.
You will cross over a railway bridge.
Take the next left, and the immediate left again.
The ground is on the right at the end of the road.
