Paddy started his career as a youth for Sheffield Wednesday, upon his release, signing for Bradford City in 2011. He was sent on loan to Southport and Vauxhall Motors during his season with Bradford, but was unable to break into the first team, and signed for Altrincham in 2012 (after a brief stint at Droylsden) where he made seventeen appearances. In 2013, he moved to Barrow, going onto make twenty-three appearances for the Cumbrian outfit and scoring twice over a two season stint there. In 2016, he joined Accrington Stanley in the league, making eleven appearances and scoring once (against Portsmouth in September 2016). In January 2019, he joined Southport, going onto make six appearances for the seasiders.
