Match Preview :- Harrogate Town - Tuesday September 9th, 2014 (19:45:00)

On Tuesday night, Celtic travel to Harrogate Town for the Vanarama Conference North fixture (kick off 7:45pm). Harrogate are currently in twentieth in the league on six points, two points and five places behind Celtic. There will be a match centre for this game.

Harrogate have not had the best of starts to their 14/15 campaign, despite high hopes pre-season. With one win and three draws out of their opening seven matches, they currently sit in the bottom three. Their win this season was a 1-0 home win over Oxford City. That said, they haven't lost at home this season, with their other two matchjes being a 2-2 draw with high-flying Barrow and an opening day goalless draw with Tamworth. Away from home, Harrogate have not had a win this season, with three losses and a draw.

All their six of their goals this season have been scored in the second half, and they've also conceded mainly in the second half, with five of their eight conceded goals coming in the last half an hour. James Walshaw has scored half of their goals this season, and currently has three.

Celtic don't have the world's best record at Wetherby Road, and our last win there was back in 2010, when we ran out comprehensive 4-0 winners. Our last visit there, last season – back in January, we lost 2-1, having had a nailed on penalty decision waved away and a controversial offside decision ruling off a goal from Ennis. Harrogate's last visit to Bower Fold in September was also Celtic's last win over the Yorkshire outfit, when we came back from a two goal deficit inside the first ten minutes to win 3-2 with goals form Sean McConville, Greg Wilkinson and Obi Anorou in a game that saw a penalty scored, a penalty saved, two Harrogate players dismissed and a late winner.

In Harrogate's last game, the 0-0 away draw at Lowestoft, Harrogate lined up as:
1. Phil Barnes
2. Matt Bloomer
3. Rhys Meynell
4. Simon Lenighan
5. Matt Heath
6. Dave McGurk
7. Lloyd Kerry
8. Ryan Kendall
9. Jonathon Margretts
10. James Walshaw
11. Jake Speight

Jack Truelove has at least one more match in a Celtic shirt on Tuesday, and hopefully many more. In Celtic's last match, the 1-0 home defeat to Leamington, Celtic lined up as:
1. Lewis King
2. Kelvin Bleau
3. Jack Truelove
4. Matty Hughes
5. Matt Regan
6. Sam Staunton-Turner
7. Aidan Chippendale
8. Matty Mainwaring
9. Ben McKenna
10. Charlie Ennis
11. Liam Dickinson

Despite being down in the bottom third, a win could propel Celtic in to the top third, whilst a loss would see Harrogate leap-frog us. Other games this week:
