Stalybridge Celtic are thrilled to announce the signing of winger Obua Mugalula.

The exciting winger returns to the club after spending the last two seasons with neighbours Mossley where he made 89 appearances and scored 18 goals during his time at Seel Park.

Obua is no stranger to the Celtic faithful, having previously enjoyed a season with the club two years ago, where he made 31 appearances, scoring five goals and registering six assists.

A popular figure amongst the Celtic fanbase, Obz now returns to the Club and links up with Jon Macken’s squad ahead of the 2026-27 season, re-uniting with some familiar faces.

On returning to Celtic, Obua said: “I’m excited to be returning to Stalybridge. I’ve always appreciated the fans and the passion they have for the Club. I’m looking forward to next season and fighting for promotion. Back again for unfinished business baby!”
