Match Preview :- Colwyn Bay - Tuesday August 20th, 2013 (19:45:00)

On Tuesday night, Celtic travel to Colwyn Bay for the Skrill North clash (Kick off 7:45pm). Like ourselves, Colwyn Bay lost their opening fixture, and currently reside in eighteenth, the same position they finished in last season! There will be a match centre for this game.

Colwyn kicked off their campaign this year with an away tie at Histon, a game they lost 3-1, after initially taking the lead through Steve Connor's goal on the hour. Last season, Rob Hopley took their golden boot, with twelve goals. Hopley missed the opening game through suspension, but he is now available again for selection.

Celtic just about edged the encounters with Colwyn Bay last season, beating them 3-2 in Colwyn Bay almost exactly a year ago in August 2012, and drawing 3-3 at Bower Fold back in August. It's been twelve years since Celtic beat the Seagulls 7-1 on their own patch and in recent years, our only other win there was back in August 1998. Bay's last win over Celtic at their own ground was back in October 2011, when they beat us 2-0 at their own ground after a very strange game that saw Celtic do everything but score. They followed that up with a comprehensive 4-0 win at Bower Fold in January last year.

Celtic will be able to field Joel Bembo-Leta for this match, as he has now served his suspension, but will be without Callum Warburton, who still has two matches left to serve on his ban.

In Celtic's last match, the 4-0 home defeat to Hednesford Town, Celtic lined up as:
1. Matt Urwin
2. Kelvin Bleau
3. Andy McWilliams
4. Kristian Platt
5. Mark Lees
6. Prince Haywood
7. Tom Buckley
8. Lewis Hatch
9. Obi Anorou
10. Sean McConville
11. Conal Platt

Colwyn Bay arte hoping international clearance has come through for two of their new signings, brothers Louis and Ed Moss. Another new signing, Ade Akinbiyi started on the bench, whilst former Celts, Jamie Crowther and Paul Ennis, both started. In their last match, the 3-1 away defeat at Histon, Colwyn lined up as:
1. Chris Senna
2. Danny Taylor
3. Mike Lee
4. Frank Sinclair
5. Tom Smyth
6. John McKenna
7. Gaz Evans
8. Jamie Crowther
9. Steve Connor
10. Jamie Ellison
11. Paul Ennis
