Match Preview :- Rushall Olympic - Saturday November 11th, 2017 (15:00:00)

On Saturday Celtic face Rushall Olympic in the FA Trophy. Rushall are currently twenty-first in the league on nineteenth points, two places and a point below Celtic. There will be a match centre and Twitter feed for this game.

Rushall have won their last two league games, beating Buxton 2-1 away from home and Halesowen 3-1 at home. It'd been a while since they'd won, with their previous wins in September, beating Witton 2-1 away and Sutton 5-1 at home. Out of their nine away games, they've won two, drawn two and lost five, including being on the wrong end of the league's biggest home win, when they were beaten 7-1 by Grantham. They have been bottom twice, and have yet to get above eighteenth.

Their top scorer in the league this season is Andre Landell who has four goals, a sixth of all their goals this season. With ten away goals, only Whitby and Celtic have scored fewer away from home. They score an average of 1.1 goals per game on the road (1.3 overall), whilst they have conceded twenty-three goals (thirty-nine overall) on the road at a rate of 2.6 per game (2.08 overall). Rushall have never kept a clean sheet on their travels, and have failed to score four times.

We have met Rushall once, in Rushall, back in August when they beat us 1-0 thanks to a penalty midway through the second half that Joe Slinn initially saved, but Rushall reacted to the rebound and got the only goal of the game.

Rushall's last league match was the 3-1 home win over Halesowen Town. In that match, they lined up as:
1. Jahquil Hill
2. Oliver Mars
3. Wesley Atkinson
4. Jordan Singh
5. Richard Brodie
6. Sam Whittall
7. Charlie Duke
8. Kacy Butterfield
9. Joe Hull
10. Danny Waldron
11. Mathis Fonovich

Celtic's last match was the 3-0 away loss at Ramsbottom in the Integro Cup, but prior to that we lost 5-0 at home in the league against Mickleover Sports. In that match, Celtic lined up as:
1. Joe Slinn
2. Danny Morton
3. Lee Neville
4. Tom Brown
5. Luke Ashworth
6. Ross Killock
7. Theo Bailey-Jones
8. Oliver Roberts
9. Liam Dickinson
10. Matty Wolfenden
11. Connor Hughes

This is a chance for Celtic to progress in the Trophy and gain a bit of revenge for the early season defeat by Rushall.
