On Easter Monday, Celtic host neighbours Mossley. Mossley are currently three point and two places behind Celtic after failing to beat Liverpool at home on Saturday. Kick off 3pm.

Mossley started the season well, losing twice in their opening seven games, putting them at a season high of second. However, one win and five losses saw them tumble to mid-table. November to February saw them pick up just two wins in thirteen games, and though they drew six times, they clung on to mid-table. Since the start of February, Mossley have only lost twice, with four wins and four draws, however, both losses were in their last two matches.

Mossley score more away than they do at home, with an average of 1.4 goals per game away and 1.3 overall, scoring 22 of their 42 goals on the road. Oumar Camara is edging the golden boot chart with seven, just one ahead of Jack Bannister. They have failed to score in three away matches this season, and have kept four clean sheets. Defensively, they conceded thirty of their forty-nine goals away from home, conceding many more on the road than in Mossley. On average, they concede 1.9 goals per game away from home, and 1.5 overall. They have the fourth worst home defence in the league, with Witton, Kidsgrove and Northwich conceding more, however, they have the eighth best away attack.

A win for Celtic could lift us to sixth, hovering around the play-off spots, with Witton (at home Northwich), Clitheroe (away at Kidsgrove), Widnes (at home to Vauxhall) and Nantwich (ay home to Hednesford) all reachable. Only Avro can leapfrog us, although if Mossley win by four goals, they too will overtake us.
