Watch out Keith Briggs, Joel Bembo-Leta took his first step on the Management ladder, as ‘Guest Manager' for the Arlies Primary School team, in aid of Sport Relief.

Celtic Director, Arthur Boswell and Community Development Officer, Mike Smith attended the school last week for the Staff v Pupils match, of which Joel took charge of the pupils.

In horrendous conditions, wind, rain and cold, the Staff took a shock 1-0 lead halfway through the first half, which quickly doubled to 2-0 at half time. After a motivational team talk by Joel, the pupils fought back to get it to 2-2, at which point Joel was introduced to the field of play, the staff then made it 3-2, then 4-2, until Joel inspired a great fight back to leave the final score 4-4.

Gareth Hughes, Teacher at Arlies Primary said: ‘Just wanted to say another thank you for all your support yesterday. Joel was top class with the children and they have all said how much they enjoyed it - he is a credit to the club. We managed to raise over £200 for Sport Relief which we are over the moon with.'
