Stalybridge Celtic FC Community Development are pleased to announce details of our Football Coaching & Employability Skills Course in partnership with FC United of Manchester and the Football Conference Trust

This course is aimed at unemployed adults with an interest in football.

You will work with coaches from FC United of Manchester and Stalybridge Celtic FC to learn;

* how to plan, deliver and monitor football training sessions.

* how to maintain physical fitness and support

* how to encourage other people to do the same

* how to develop your confidence.

* how you can use your coaching skills to impress employers and get a job

You will achieve an Open Awards Level 1 Award in Skills for Coaching Football and a PEARL Employability Skills Award.

During the course of the project there will be help with how to use your football coaching skills and experience to enhance your employability and make the most of your experience in job interviews and job applications. At the end of the course we can support you in developing your career in sport and sports coaching.

Venue: Ken Ward Sports Centre, Hattersley, Tameside, SK14 3NL

Dates: Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th June 2014, then every Mon/Tues for 7 weeks

Times: The sessions will run from10am to 2.30pm on both days
