THE ROAD AHEAD 

40 games to go, time to cruise ahead.

Another Saturday, the old routine,

Not like last year; time to do better instead,

For all the right reasons, create a scene.

Last week at Hednesford, could have done better,

Didn't rise till second half; game: feisty.

Higgins gave us hope; then came a modest winner.

30 seconds later, home victory.

That'll do for us against the Tigers,

Time to keep Gloucestershire's big cats at bay.

Whichever way, hopefully winners,

Us at full tilt, smiles along the way.

Gloucester are no mugs, they have held their own.

Tactically they are a bit feisty too.

Away from their home they have always shown

Tenacity, willingness to pull through. 

Us? Time to do the same and win the game.

Pass wide? Park the bus?  We are not mithered.

Whatever way to win'll do the same.

Three points by means?  Always mattered.
